Christian Munthe, PhD in Practical Philosophy
Christian Munthe is professor of practical philosophy and his research has among other things touched on issues about the moral status of natural systems, entities and organisms, the evaluation, responsibility and management of society related to complex risks and uncertainties in the interaction with natural systems, and the relationship between public health ethical issues and environmental concerns. He is founding and steering group member of the Centre for Antibiotic resistance research, CARe.

Rut Blomqvist, PhD Student in English
Through a transdisciplinary approach, I study how works in the emerging climate fiction genre deal with environmental issues and how they envision a sustainable future. The authors I focus on – currently Kim Stanley Robinson, Margaret Atwood, and Jonathon Porritt – explicitly engage, both through their fiction and as public figures, in the environmental movement.

My research includes the study of environmental imaginaries in Arabic literature.

Martin Hultman, Senior Lecturer in Human Geography
Martin Hultman is engaged in local politics organising events around ecotourism, popular science and transition. His current research revolves around issues such as posthumanities ethics, ecofeminism, environmental utopias, climate change denial and ecopreneurship historically as well as contemporary.
