Petra Andersson, PhD in Practical Philosophy
My current research concerns interspecies relationships, nature-culture interaction and the values of biodiversity and ecosystem services. I am especially interested in ethical and gender aspects of equestrian sports and horse management in general. I am also a member of the Steering Committee for the Environmental Humanities Network at GU, and I am a member of the Scientific committee for biodiversity and ecosystem services at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket).

Rut Blomqvist, PhD Student in English
Through a transdisciplinary approach, I study how works in the emerging climate fiction genre deal with environmental issues and how they envision a sustainable future. The authors I focus on – currently Kim Stanley Robinson, Margaret Atwood, and Jonathon Porritt – explicitly engage, both through their fiction and as public figures, in the environmental movement.
